Sneak Peek at Auburn Hills 2024 Summer Day Camp

We’re kicking summer off as we begin training for our Auburn Hills Summer Day Camp! Camp begins on July 1st and runs until August 2nd, but our counselors are already preparing by planning activities,  creating crafts, and even practicing giant Jenga and Gaga Ball. Our camp counselors have experience interacting with children and leading camp activities, and are super excited to get started! Camp will take place at the Auburn Hills Community Center. Campers will explore our beautiful parks and trails along with walking field trips to the library, fire station, and police station. New this year, we have our very own greenhouse, led by Bridget Prohaszka, our Nutrition Program Team Leader. Bridget will show the campers how to transplant flowers, all about seeds, and pollination!

We are thrilled to be hosting some special visitors, such as Baffling Bill the Magician, Leader Dogs for the Blind, Drumming with Amanda and more! Even some of our seniors are sharing their time and talents with our young campers, such as learning pickleball and cardmaking.

For children ages 4 and 5, we offer a Cub Camp that runs the first two weeks in August.  Our theme for the first week is Living & Nonliving Things which begins on Monday, August 5th.  Our theme for the second week of camp is Community Helpers which runs August 12th through the 16th. Registration for Cub Camp has already started. Sign your child up today!!
