‘Tis The Season To Give Back

The River Church has officially kicked off the holiday season with the opening of their Christmas tree farm stand located at 255 S. Squirrel Road, just south of Auburn Road.  When you buy a tree here, you’re helping one of four local, deserving organizations.  All proceeds from the tree sales will go to the Matilda R. Wilson Boys & Girls Club, the Auburn Hills Meals On Wheels program, the Avondale Theater Company and the Crisis Pregnancy Center.

Each of these organizations will decorate a tree which will be on display at The River Church’s tree farm stand beginning the evening of Friday, December 4th.  Vote for your favorite tree and the organization with the most votes will receive a minimum $500.00 donation from the River Church.

The Auburn Hills Tree Lighting Ceremony will also be in full swing that evening and two trains will run between the ceremony and the River Church where folks can enjoy a bonfire, hot chocolate and popcorn while voting on their favorite tree.

The River Church Christmas Tree Stand is open Tuesday through Thursday from 10am to 7pm, Friday and Saturday from 10am to 8pm and Sunday from 12pm to 6pm.  Closed Monday.
