I have my Google preferences set up so that when Auburn Hills is mentioned in an article, I get a Google alert via my email.   I tend to get a lot of Detroit Piston updates right now and while I’m a fan, I don’t keep up as much as I should so the alerts help.

Earlier this week, one Google alert in particular sparked my interest. It was announced at the Auto Show that VLF Automotive, a new US-based luxury sports car company, was launched through a partnership between Henrik Fisker, Former General Motors Vice Chairman Bob Lutz and entrepreneur Gilbert Villarreal.  This announcement really hit home because this state-of-the-art development and manufacturing facility is right here in Auburn Hills.

I needed to see these vehicles for myself.  When I arrived at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) yesterday, it was the first area I wanted to check out.  These vehicles are absolutely incredible.  VLF Automotive didn’t have a fancy exhibit like some of the other brands, but they didn’t need to; the cars were the main attraction.

So, if you are heading to the NAIAS in the coming days, be sure to check out VLF Automotive. You won’t be disappointed.
