While looking for files in our Records Retention building yesterday, we found these photos of the Chrysler Technology Center in a dusty old box marked “important.”

They were tucked inside a press kit folder that Chrysler Corporation distributed on October 15, 1991 (almost 25 years ago).  The scale of this mega-structure is absolutely fascinating.  Former Chrysler Chairman Lee Iacocca praised it as “the finest automotive R&D facility in the world.”

We’re so grateful that our predecessors had the foresight to save this piece of our community’s history.
