As many of us look forward to the arrival of spring, we often search for volunteer opportunities that protect and enhance our natural resources. If you are interested in river conservation and enhancement, you’re in luck.
The City of Auburn Hills and our Clinton River Coldwater Conservation Project partners invite you to our annual Volunteer River Rally on Thursday, March 3rd from 6:00pm to 9:00pm at the Rochester Mills Brewery. We will take a look back at our conservation activities and achievements in 2015 and upcoming events and volunteer opportunities in 2016.
Attendees will enjoy a special presentation on woody debris and stream habitat management from guest speaker, Patrick Ertel of the Michigan Department of Natural Resources Fisheries Division. The cost to attend is $15.00 and includes a dinner and one drink ticket. Space is limited, so those interested in attending are encouraged to register by this Thursday, February 25th.
For more information or to register for the event please contact the Clinton River Watershed Council at 248-601-0606 or visit their website at www.crwc.org.
