The iconic Chrysler tower stands tall in the Auburn Hills landscape, so you might overlook a special spot to visit. People are often surprised to learn that the Walter P. Chrysler Museum is tucked away on Squirrel Road. Since 2012, it has only been open for special events, but that’s about to change!
I was so excited to learn that the Walter P. Chrysler Museum was going to reopen to the public for several days (weekend hours) per month! The 55,000 square foot museum will feature classics from the company’s antique, custom and concept vehicle line.
I’ve attended special events like the Taste of Auburn Hills, which is hosted by the Chamber of Commerce and the City’s 25th Anniversary Celebration at the museum in 2008. I can honestly say that each visit is unique and I always leave feeling nostalgic.
