The City of Auburn Hills is fortunate to have many organizations that assist our residents and those in surrounding communities who are in need. I visited Crossroads Pregnancy Center, located at 3205 South Boulevard, earlier this week to learn about the services they provide and to learn how we can work together. They have about 19 employees who are available to assist those in need in the community – everything from counselors to nurses.
Crossroads offers many services including pregnancy tests, limited ultrasounds, men’s counseling, childbirth and Infant Care Classes and prenatal health care information. They offer all of these services for free to those in need. Crossroads provides services to approximately 1,600 patients per year and provides education to over 11,000 students in the area.
I was very surprised to learn that Crossroads also offers a Mom and Baby Care Program, where new moms who are experiencing a hardship can get formula, diapers, clothing and other items for their child. It’s like a store, where new moms are invited to shop for the things they need for their child. The volunteers who run the store make sure that everything is just perfect.

Crossroads is a tremendous asset to our community and we appreciate the many volunteers to work to ensure that those who have a need can seek assistance at no cost.
