What a treat!
The DIA Away “Museum in Motion” interactive art experience recently made an appearance at our downtown Summerfest event – the experience was available to all Summerfest event guests this past Friday and Saturday. Designed to inspire creative thinking and problem solving, the exhibit was a BIG HIT!
I’m told by the DIA staff, a wonderful group to work with, that 842 people came through to check out the exhibit, and it seemed that most had a wonderful time doing so.
One of the great things about summer festivals is we have the opportunity to blend music, food, and fun together in our public spaces, like in the downtown or in the city parks. These are great places for people of all ages to enjoy these social activities, and when we can add art to the mix, it just gets even better!
Look for more art opportunities in the future around town, like the DIA Away exhibit and others – you may be inspired to be creative in your own way!
