I loved Halloween as a kid and fondly remember pulling together costumes for trick-or-treating and Halloween parties. It still happens to be one of my favorite “holidays” and I’m not alone. Retail experts suggest that spending on Halloween is second only to spending on the winter holiday season. Its popularity has grown exponentially over the past two decades.
All you’ll ever need for Halloween has arrived at the new Spirit Halloween store in Great Lakes Crossing Outlets. The space formerly occupied by Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar and Grill (in District 9 near Bass Pro Shops) has been transformed into 22,500 sq. ft. of Halloween…everything. And I do mean everything.
Costumes for people and pets, wigs, makeup, masks, jewelry, fake weapons, fake blood, fake eyeballs, props, glowing worms, pumpkin carving templates and supplies, Halloween socks, Halloween sound machines, party decorations, spooky indoor and outdoor event lighting and more are all on display until November 1st. Even if you aren’t in the market for a costume, its fun retail therapy.
Have fun and be safe. Happy Haunting!
