Interest in the opening date for Blaze Pizza within the Auburn Hills Marketplace continues to grow and for good reason. This fast casual pizzeria, known for making customized artisan pizzas in four minutes or less, is sure to be a hit.
The business is currently under construction in the retail space adjacent to Starbucks. The oven, which is the primary piece of equipment for the restaurant, has already been installed. We’re told the dome of the oven can reach 900 degrees, but the 600 to 800-degree oven floor is the key to making the crispy crust for the pies. The contractors are currently installing the store’s interior lighting, wall tiles, and countertops.

If all things go according to schedule, the City will make final permit inspections the week of February 19th. Once the inspections are complete, the owner expects to open the following week. So, we’re about one month away from their grand opening.
