Dr. Leslie Emmert-Buck is not your typical doctor.  She is on a mission!

Dr. Emmert-Buck recently opened Capstone Vision, PLLC, a new ophthalmology practice in Auburn Hills, at 3100 Cross Creek Parkway, Suite 130.  The doctor spoke with enthusiasm at the May 7th City Council meeting where she explained that she wants to be a part of the Auburn Hills’ community and the long-term well-being of her patients.

She informed the City Council that her mission is to deliver direct and personal eye care as well as safe surgical solutions for vision correction, including refractive surgery such as SBK (modern LASIK), and ASA (modern PRK), refractive cataract surgery, near vision solutions, and dry eye solutions.  Further, the key to her success will be creating a “Lifelong Vision Partnership” with each patient by offering the best vision care at every stage of life and ensuring the best technology, best education, and best vision experience possible.

Dr. Emmert-Buck is returning home to Michigan after 14 years of practicing on the East Coast.  She is a board-certified and fellowship-trained ophthalmologist, earning a combined MD/PhD from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore and the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland, followed by a Cornea and Refractive Surgery fellowship at Wills Eye Hospital (the second-ranked best hospital for Ophthalmology in the US) in Philadelphia.
