With the holiday shopping season in full force this week, we are encouraging you to support the community and ‘shop local’ on Small business Saturday! November 24, 2018, marks the ninth anniversary of Small Business Saturday – a day conceived to give exposure and support to our community’s small businesses and to celebrate the many establishments that make our community great. Shopping local ensures the prosperity of our community by keeping dollars in the local economy and by building a strong network that enables individuals and businesses within the community to support one another.

Although Small Business Saturday is a great opportunity to check off that holiday shopping list, don’t forget to support your community year round! There are so many great local businesses this community has to offer and the one-on-one time spent with the merchants at these local establishments will lead to the continued growth and prosperity we see in our community today.
With all the many great offerings, be sure to shop local on November 24 and check off that holiday shopping list!
Brandon Skopek, Director of Authorities
It certainly would be helpful if you would list all the small businesses to shop at in the city. Thank you.
