
We wish to advise the community that the Planning Commission’s agenda for tomorrow night’s meeting has been modified.
The primary agenda item will now be the public hearing and recommendation to the City Council for the updated Y2019-2023 City of Auburn Hills Parks and Recreation Master Plan.
The following items have been removed from the meeting agenda:
- General Development’s request for approval to rezone 7.6 acres of land located at the southwest corner of Lapeer Road and Taylor Road from B-2, General Business to I-1, Light Industrial District. This item has been withdrawn, and no date has been set for future review.
- Nino’s Italian House Restaurant’s request for approval to construct an automatic changeable copy sign on their property located at 4255 Baldwin Road. This item has been moved to the February 13th meeting agenda.
- Bob’s Discount Furniture’s request to demolish the existing Staples store, located at 280 Brown Road, to make room for the construction of a new two-story, 35,037 square foot retail store. This item has been moved to the February 13th meeting agenda.
- J.B. Donaldson Company’s request to construct a 110,000 square foot light industrial building at the northeast corner of Pinnacle Court and Harmon Road. This item has been moved to the February 13th meeting agenda.
The January 16th Planning Commission meeting will be held at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chamber at City Hall. All interested are encouraged to attend.
