Earth Day on the Trail

A special thanks to the staff at Brose North America for celebrating Earth Day this past Monday by helping out on the Clinton River Trail.

Volunteers from Brose picked up litter along the Clinton River Trail from Opdyke Rd. to Leach Rd. They used two groups that started on each end of the trail and worked towards the middle. The group collected over 20 bags of trash along with a number of large items that were found.

The Clinton River Trail stretches across 16 miles through a variety of cities in Oakland County, and also serves as a junction with other trails. Before the city purchased the property, it was owned and used by the Grand Trunk Railroad.
