The Police Department with has started their first-ever Police Youth Academy and they are extending invitation to all residents and businesses in the community. If you have a child or know someone who would be interested in attending please pass this application along.

The academy will take place June 24 – June 28, 2019 from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. each day. The academy will be hosted at our Police Department and will be open to high school students, grades 9-12 including seniors who have just graduated. It will cover topics that include Legal, Defensive Tactics, First Aid, Police Use of Force, Citizen Response to an Active Violence Incident, and much more! The academy is free and students will be provided with t-shirts and lunches throughout the week.

The application can be dropped off at the station or emailed to jsears@auburnhills.org . The deadline for the application is Friday, May 31, 2019.
