The American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) is returning to Fieldstone Golf Club for the UHY Detroit Junior Qualifier on Sunday, August 4th, 2019!
The AJGA is looking for volunteers to assist in the festivities of the day. They are specifically looking to fill positions at the timing stations. For those who don’t know what timing stations are, they aid in enforcing AJGA pace of play program and make sure the juniors are keeping up with the policies set by the AJGA.
All volunteers will receive an AJGA hat, a pin, a lunch, and a golf cart. The AJGA has a timing station located on every 3 holes on the golf course. The timing station volunteer is responsible for writing down the time the group finishes the hole and recording their stopwatch time as well. For those interested, below is the volunteer link and it explains the schedules and openings for the event.
