The City of Auburn Hills will be hosting a brand new downtown event: SeptemBEERFest. With this, we are in need of a large number of volunteers over the age of 18 to help coordinate some of the activities at the event!
SeptemBEERfest will take place on Friday, September 13, 2019, from 5:00 – 9:00 PM in downtown Auburn Hills. This is a ticketed, public event for the Auburn Hills community and craft-beer lovers alike. We will feature two blues bands – Corey Dennison and Lucas Rhoades, lawn games, BBQ-style food from Bad Brads, and a variety of craft beer options from Roak Brewing Co., Rochester Mills Beer Co., Perrin Brewing Co., and Midland Brewing Company. This event is also a fundraiser and all proceeds are going to the Auburn Hills Community Foundation.
Our volunteers will be assigned to the following tasks:
- Pouring beer into plastic cups at Vendor tents
- Serving BBQ and sides at food truck tent
- Guest check-in
- ID checks
- Monitoring lawn games
- General cleanup
We need between 15 – 20 more volunteers from 6:00 – 9:30 PM.
The City will provide a volunteers with a t-shirt, pizza dinner, water, and two drink tickets to use if they are over the age of 21.
