Not everyone in the community has the opportunity to see the downtown on a regular basis, so we thought we’d take this opportunity to share a couple of photos of new developments that are currently underway. 

On Squirrel Court, Robertson Brothers Homes is working toward the completion of its first of three townhome buildings. Located overlooking Riverside Park and the Clinton River, these townhomes promise to be a great place to call home.

At the southeast corner of Auburn Road and S. Squirrel is the new four-story Designhaus building. This mixed-use building will consist of office, residential, and a proposed restaurant. It’s starting to take shape and clearly defines an important corner within our downtown. 

More projects are slated for downtown yet this year and into next year. Building a downtown from the ground up is certainly a fascinating undertaking and is not without its challenges.  But as you can see, our downtown is becoming a greater asset to the community as a wonderful place to live, work, and play.
