The City of Auburn Hills is lucky to have a substantial number of corporations doing business in the community. On September 12, Mahindra’s President and CEO Rick Haas handed over the keys to a new Roxor off-road utility vehicle to Mayor Kevin McDaniel for use by our Department of Public Works.

The Roxor’s diesel power and flexible design will allow our DPW staff to utilize the vehicle in some of the more hard to reach places where larger vehicles are more difficult to navigate, such as in our parks, in our downtown, and on our wooded trails. The city’s logo and Department of Public Works lettering has been affixed to the vehicle since taking delivery last week and the new Roxor is already off to work.

Many thanks to Mahindra for this generous donation. The addition of the Roxor to our fleet is a great step to adding efficiency to our operations by having the right vehicles for the right job!
