Last Friday, a number of city staff and elected officials attended the Auburn Hills Chamber of Commerce’ annual Women Empowered event. This event features three extraordinary women leaders who discuss their success and the paths they took to get there.
This year, we were honored to be there to support our very own Fire Chief, Ellen Taylor. Chief Taylor has been at the helm of our fire department for over a year now and we were proud to be able to listen to her discuss her career success. She was joined by fellow panelists Rachel Tronstein, President of Gardner-White Furniture; and Joscelyn Davis, President and CEO of Jade Strategies and also a member of the board of the Auburn Hills Chamber of Commerce.

Congratulations to each of you for the success you have already achieved and the success yet to come!
Tom Tanghe, City Manager
