On Tuesday, November 19th, my Executive Assistant and I attended the Java with Jean event. These events are held on a regular schedule with our Chamber of Commerce President Jean Jernigan as a way for Chamber members to network.
Tuesday’s Java was held at Great Lakes Crossing Outlets where the holiday season is already in full swing. The Chamber spared no effort by bringing in their very own Santa and elves to add to the fun.

A rather large group of attendees enjoyed coffee, cinnamon rolls, and the opportunity for those attendees to learn more about the business of each participant with whom they met.
Java with Jean is just one of the many ways business people can take advantage of their Auburn Hills Chamber of Commerce membership. The Java events are free and a great way to network. For me it’s an opportunity to get out into the business community from time to time to meet new people, as well as see those I already know, who are members of the Chamber, regardless if their business is located here in Auburn Hills.
