Many bars and restaurants continue to experience significant hardships due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the associated emergency orders issued by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services. In an effort to assist bars and restaurants throughout Oakland County, the Oakland County Board of Commissioners allocated $3 million for cities, villages and townships (CVTs) to assist these types of businesses with adapting their operations and to support their safe reopening.
To help address the needs of these establishments, Oakland County developed a grant program and made available to CVTs certain products and supplies for distribution. The City of Auburn Hills received the following:
- 30 electrostatic sprayers
- 200 gallons of disinfectant solution
If your bar or restaurant is located in Auburn Hills and could use these supplies, please reach out to City staff at either of the email addresses below to receive the necessary grant agreement associated with your request.

The grant agreement is very brief and can be brought with you to pick up your needed sanitization equipment.
In an effort to make distribution as convenient as possible to business owners, City staff will plan to be at 3342 Auburn Rd at the following times:
- May 12, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. – Noon
- May 14, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
