Auburn Hills Perennial Exchange

Join us for The Auburn Hills Perennial Exchange, rain or shine, at beautiful River Woods Park on Saturday, May 15th, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. This (free) annual springtime event is open to anyone interested in exchanging their extra perennial plants for new and different varieties – for free!

This socially distanced, outdoor gathering is the perfect opportunity to add new life, new texture, and fresh color to your garden.  For easy trading, place plants to be exchanged in containers or bags with a little potting soil and label them with the type of plant – if known.

Enjoy breakfast treats and coffee and try your luck in the gardening gift raffle! Seed packets will be available (on a first-come, first-served basis) so that you can try your hand at growing new flowers in your garden.

Pre-registration for this event is not required, but wearing a mask is! Masks are mandatory for everyone’s sake.  River Woods Park is located on Squirrel Road just south of M-59. Call the Community Development Department at (248) 364-6946 for more information.

We look forward to seeing you there. And remember, the early bird gets the worm!
