Sunny skies, warm temperatures, and the ideal setting of Riverside Park in downtown Auburn Hills combined to make SeptemBEERfest 2021 a huge success.  Last Friday evening, September 17^th, four hundred participants converged upon Riverside Park and the Knight Amphitheater to sample a number of craft beers, some great tacos made to order by Ruckus Tacos, pizza from our very own Larco Bros., and fresh made warm donuts from Detroit Donut Co.  Beer was available from Blue Skies Brewery in downtown Auburn Hills, as well as from Griffin Claw, Dragonmead, Atwater, and Kuhnhenn.  Two bands, Lucus Rhoades Band, and Love Letters from Detroit-Bobby Murray’s Salute to Etta James, provided incredible entertainment throughout the entire night.  When the event ended at 10:00 p.m., there was no doubt that everyone left having had a great time.  Thank you to all who attended and special thanks to the many volunteers who gave of their time to make this a wonderful experience for all of our guests.  A HUGE thanks to Great Lakes Crossing Outlets for being this year’s presenting sponsor, as well as the Auburn Hills Downtown Development Authority.  Also, many thanks to Eveonne Roberts, our Downtown Engagement Specialist who went above and beyond to think of every detail to make this event the best and most enjoyable experience for everyone; with much help from Stephanie Carroll, our Economic Development Manager and DDA Director, who assisted Eveonne with all that was SeptemBEERfest!
