This month marks the 46th Black History Month. Black History Month is an annual recognition of the history, achievements, and influence of the Black community and their central role in U.S. history.
President Gerald R. Ford asked Americans to “seize the opportunity to honor the too-often neglected accomplishments of Black Americans in every area of endeavor throughout our history.” This month, join the City of Auburn Hills in celebrating our shared history and to recognize Black history this month.
