Do you have a creative spark? We encourage you to create and submit a design for this year’s River Day logo.
The Clinton River Watershed Council is now accepting submissions for its 24th Annual River Day Logo design contest. The contest encourages local artists to get involved in the promotion of River Day, which will be held Saturday, June 11th. The event coincides with Michigan’s Free Fishing Weekend and Great Lakes & Fresh Water Week. Events occur throughout the entire month of June including our 19th Annual Fishing Derby!
The Logo Design Contest
The winning River Day 2022 logo design will be used on official River Day shirts, the event guide and CRWC website to promote River Day. The winner of the River Day Logo design contest will receive an official River Day T-shirt with their design on it and a one-year membership to the watershed council. CRWC also will feature the artist’s picture and artist statement on the River Day event page on the CRWC website.

- Artist must reside within the Clinton River Watershed
- Art must be black-and-white, thick line drawing, absolutely no gray tones
- Size: 8.5 x 11 inches or smaller
- The year 2022 must be prominent in the design of the logo, and the design must include the words River Day
Electronic submissions (JPEG or TIFF files only) are permitted, but they must meet the above requirements and be 300 dpi resolution or greater. Please email electronic submissions to kaleigh@crwc.org by April 1, 2022.
