Pull out your gardening gloves and trowels – the Beautification Awards are back for the 2023 season!

Are you planting new shrubs this year? Painting your siding, planting perennials, nurturing trees, grooming your lawn? We want to see your property and we want to reward your hard work. Nominate yourself or a deserving neighbor for a Beautification Award. Nominations will be accepted until July 1^st.

The Beautification Award program is aimed to encourage both businesses and residents to take pride in their landscaping and exterior home improvement. Well-maintained buildings, houses and gardens add value to the community and inspire neighbors to maintain their respective properties.  The effort expended in beautification activities results in increased property values, the elimination of eyesores and helps turn community health and safety liabilities into community assets. It is our goal to honor the labor and dedication essential to creating attractive and inviting properties.

Committee members will stop by nominated properties in July to take exterior photos that will be used to select this year’s winners. Beautification winners will be notified in late August and will be recognized with a congratulatory yard sign.
