It’s National Public Works Week

Turn on your faucet today?  Flush the toilet? Drive down a road? Visit a park? Admire a well-kept public space?  If you did any of these, you need to know that these are just a handful of the many things supported each and every day by Public Works employees.  While there’s no downplaying the critical role of city departments like police and fire that respond to emergencies, no other category of employee touches your day-to-day life than those of the Department of Public Works.  These are the unsung heroes of the community that do their work with humility, but always with a sense of pride.  When the storms blow through, they do the clean-up.  When a city event is held, they do the set-up.  The list goes on and on.

Auburn Hills Department of Public Works / 1500 Brown Road

This week we honor the men and women of the Auburn Hills Department of Public Works.  THANK YOU for all you do to make Auburn Hills a great place to call home, to do business, and to visit.
