The Oakland County Water Resources Commissioner’s Office will be performing emergency protective measures to an existing sanitary sewer system along the Clinton River in Rochester Hills. The project is located within the Clinton River, north of Avon Road and east of Livernois Road, behind Rochester College.

River restoration measures may impact canoe and kayak passage. It is recommended that canoers and kayakers select an alternate route as portage routes may be lengthy and it may be difficult to bypass construction activities. Work activities are anticipated to begin June 10, 2019, and will continue through June 21, 2019.
