With the financial support from the Tax Increment Finance Authority, the City was recently able to re-construct the tennis courts at our Municipal Campus. They are officially open for use today, August 10, 2020.  The courts are located at 1827 North Squirrel Road, next to our Community Center. The courts are available for use Monday – Friday from 8:30 am-12:30 pm for drop-in senior pickleball, 12:30 pm-Sunset is available for open tennis or pickleball for all ages, with the exception of any instructional classes offered by the Community Center. Saturday and Sunday are open play from sun up to sun down.

The original courts were constructed back in 1981 when this area was part of Pontiac Township. The new courts and surrounding improvements within the area were completed by Warren Contracting & Development, Inc. out of Shelby Township, the City’s Engineer, OHM Advisors, and the City’s Department of Public Works.
